Frequently Asked Questions
  • Getting Started
  • How do I create / sign up an account?
Go to the Getting Started page which will take you through the 1-2-3's of registration, depositing funds and progressing on to play your first game.
  • How do I deposit funds to my account?
To deposit funds to your account online, click the Deposit button on the top left hand corner of your screen. If you have not yet done so, select your preferred payment method, complete the details and click the Deposit button on the form. See Payment methods below for information on crediting your account in other ways, offline.
  • What is the Alias for and how do I set it up?
Your Alias is the name that you choose to be seen as by other players in the bingo rooms and chat rooms, so pick something you like! For security reasons we recommend that you do not use your account username as your bingo Alias.Having an Alias is a pre-requisite for any bingo game. Once you have registered for a bingo account (whether you are a new customer or have an existing account), and you click Play, you will be prompted to create your Alias before you can continue to play Bingo, if you have not yet done so. Note that you must accept the Player Terms and Conditions before you can complete this process.
  • I got a promotion code for free bingo bonus - what do I do to claim?
There are two places you can enter your promotion code: (i) in the alias creation screen when you first create your alias, or (ii) in the My Account window.

When you create your alias, you may enter it into the Promocode field in the alias selection window. If you have already created your alias, go to the My Account section once you have logged in, either from My Account button at the top of the website page, or the Deposit button on the menu in the bingo game window. Once there, open the Bingo Bonus section, and enter your code in the Promocode field on that page. Click here to see where the input fields are.

  • Ok, I'm ready: so how do I play a bingo game?
Once you have completed the account registration and Alias creation steps, and have deposited funds into your account, just click any Play Now button to bring you to the games lobby and select the bingo game you wish to play by clicking its corresponding Play button.
  • Are there any restrictions on me playing?
It is your responsibility to ensure that at all times you comply with all laws in any jurisdiction that apply to your use of our services. In particular, if you live in a country where betting is prohibited, you must not register with us or attempt to use our services. • Playing Bingo
  • I've never played this before: what is Bingo? Where did it come from?
Bingo has a long history, originating as an Italian lottery game in the 1530's and undergoing various changes in a journey through Europe and the Americas to become the Bingo we know and love today. In this more modern game, which is still a kind of lottery, players gather together in Bingo rooms and purchase one or more tickets (cards) which are divided into numbered and blank squares. Bingo balls displaying numbers between 1 and either 75 or 90 are selected at random. As the caller announces the players mark them off wherever they appear on their tickets, using a special pen called a dauber. Then, BINGO! The winner is the first person to mark off all the numbers on one ticket.
  • Bingo is played in a bingo hall! How on earth can I play online?
The main difference to the traditional game is that you can join a game, from the comfort of your own home, whenever you want: they run 24-7 and new games start every few minutes. You can also choose between different bingo rooms and catch up with friends in the chat rooms or play a range of other games during the Bingo breaks.

To play, you just need to log in , have adequate funds in your account and buy at least one ticket .
  • Tell me about the different types of bingo games.
90-Number Bingo uses balls numbered 1-90 and the tickets are arranged in three rows with nine columns: the five numbers presented on each row must be called and daubed to win a Full House (FH) - and the jackpot if it is a jackpot game!
  • How do I win?
For 90 Ball Bingo there are up to 4 different ways to win a prize, depending on the game played. A 90-ball game has between one and 3 parts, and may also have a compensation prize. A ‘1 line’ prize is won the first time all five numbers on a horizontal line are called and daubed. Similarly the ‘2 lines’ prize is won the first time all numbers on any 2 horizontal lines are called and daubed. The ‘Full House’ prize is won the first time all the numbers are called and daubed on a ticket on all three lines. Consolation prizes are won by a randomly selected loser at the end of a game. They are not available on all games.
  • How are the prizes calculated?
In "pari-mutuel" games, the value of the prizes will be a proportion of total funds generated by the tickets sold for that game. See the Bingo Schedule page for details. These often have a minimum prize, so even when few people are playing, you can still win a tidy little sum. When many people are playing the prizes will exceed the minimum prizes in some cases and will increase beyond the minimum depending on the total funds generated by the tickets sold. Generally, for 3 part games (1 line, 2 lines and full house prizes) the Full House prize will grow bigger than the 1 line and 2 lines.
For Example: For a game with minimum prizes on a 3 part game of £5 for 1 line, £10 for 2 lines and £15 for a Full house. If the total funds generated by the tickets sold was £20 the prizes would be the minimum amounts above. If the total funds generated by tickets sold was £100 the prizes could be e.g. £10 for 1 line, £20 for 2 lines and £40 for the Full House. The remaining £30 is divided into jackpot contributions and house takings.

Other games are "Fixed Prize" games where the amount won in a given prize is fixed. In decreasing jackpot games for instance, the value depends on the stage of the game it is won on: the value starts very high and gradually decreases from a set call number, so e.g. a full house won on the 50th call may win £1000 whereas a FH won on the 51st call might win £950, etc. Jumping Jackpot games are similar to decreasing jackpots, but in these games the value of the Full House prize “jumps” – it increases on some calls, and decreases again on others, making this an exciting game full of surprises!

Fair for All games are bingo games with a fixed price, and set number of tickets, so that each player has exactly the same chance of winning. Fair for All games often get extra points in associated tournaments, such as the Champion’s League.

Progressive jackpots (PJP) games are the exciting games with BIG winnings! A proportion of the funds generated from ticket sales in associated jackpot games are pooled into an overall jackpot fund. This means that the Progressive jackpot prize fund grows and grows until it is won. Any game contributing to the PJP is eligible to produce the jackpot winner , who wins the associated game part by the specified call number for that jackpot. This winner will win both the jackpot and the game's Full House prize.
  • More importantly, how much can I win?
This depends on the game type , whether you win a line, a full house or the huge progressive jackpot : displayed on the homepage with all the other jackpots (slots, silver room, gold room, etc.). Refer to the Bingo Schedule page for details of current minimum full house prizes.
  • Where is the paytable for the games and for jackpot?
You can view all prizes for the games on the bingo client itself. The details of the jackpot including the call number is also available there.
  • How do I win the jackpot?
To win the jackpot in a progressive jackpot game (PJP), you must win the Full House by the call specified in the PJP Call display. E.g. if the PJP call is 43 and my ticket wins me a full house on the 40th call - I'm the jackpot winner! If this happens on the 44th call, I just win the full house prize for that game.
  • How does the jackpot grow?
A proportion of the funds generated from ticket sales for the PJP games are pooled into an overall jackpot. This means that the progressive jackpot grows and grows until it is won.
  • What about freebies? What are you offering?
We're always running promotions - from free ticket offers to bingo bonuses. The best thing to do is to check out the Promotions page to see our current offers!
  • What is a bingo bonus?
A bingo bonus is an amount of funds awarded to your account for use on bingo. These might be awarded as sign-up or loyalty gifts, or prizes for chat room games.
  • How do I buy my tickets?
Tickets are bought within the bingo room. You can select tickets individually, by strip, using the Quick Pick options, by clicking ‘Pick’, or the slider bar ‘ticket selector’ for multiple ticket purchases. To purchase the tickets you have selected click the BUY button, or double-click the ticket to deselect. If you don’t like the tickets that you see you can change them by clicking on ‘New Tickets’. Selected and purchased tickets are colour coded. Only the tickets purchased by you will be displayed once the game begins.
  • What is Autobuy and how does it work?
By clicking on the ‘Autobuy’ button you can automatically have your bingo tickets bought for you for future games. You can select the amount of tickets you wish to buy and the number of games you want to autobuy for. A green light will show beside ‘Autobuy’ on the bottom of your screen if you have it currently set up to autobuy.
  • Can I pre-order tickets before a game starts?
Yes, you can also pre-order tickets for games to be played in the future. You can click on the pre-order button on the game page to buy tickets up to a week in advance. You must be signed in for button to appear. You can also check which games you have pre-ordered tickets for in ‘My Account’ and cancel the order if you want. When you pre-order, the tickets are only bought just before the game starts so you’ll need funds in your account at the time of the game for the tickets to be bought successfully.
  • How many tickets can I buy?
You can buy as many tickets as you like up to a maximum of 60 in a single game. Remember, you'll be awarded some free tickets too, so you'll end up with up to 90 tickets if you purchase the maximum number.
  • How many people will I be playing with?
This will be displayed in the bingo room in the PLAYERS field.
  • Can I chat with the other players?
Of course! This is what our chat rooms are for :o)
  • How will I know when my numbers have been called?
The last number called out is displayed on the top of the screen, and the previous six numbers are displayed to the right of this. All numbers called since the beginning of the current game are highlighted to the right of this again, in the number grid. Numbers displayed on your tickets which have already been called out will be daubed automatically, so don't worry if you lose track for a while!
  • How will I know when I've won?
A big ‘Winners’ message will appear on your screen displaying your alias and telling you whether you've won a line, two lines or the Full House. Equally, if another player wins in your game, you will see this with details of their win. You can also scroll through the last few winners on this screen or you can find it by clicking on the ‘?’ symbol on the top right of the screen and then clicking on recent winners.
In the mean time, your tickets are ordered in the screen so that those closest to winning a new line appear first, and are colour coded according to the number of numbers you have yet to get to complete a new line.
  • How do I know that the game is fair?
Statistical randomness ensures that the result of all games is entirely fair and impartial. Technical Systems Testing (TST), an internationally recognized Accredited Testing Facility (ATF), have independently certified that the Random Number Generator (RNG) used by paddypowerbingo distributes numbers with non-predictability, and lack of bias to particular outcomes, at a 95% confidence interval, which is a standard confidence level in all statistical analyses.

Is it legal for me to play bingo online at paddypowerbingo.com?
Paddypowerbingo.com is hosted on the Isle of Man and operates under an OGRA (Online Gambling Regulation Act) gaming licence issued by the Gambling Control Commissioners (GCC) of the Isle of Man.

As described in the Terms and Conditions , "playing online is restricted to individuals of legal age as determined in the jurisdiction in which the individual resides. Under no circumstances may a person play if they are under 18 years of age."
  • What is a consolation prize?
Consolation prizes are sometimes offered on special games. If you don't win any of the prizes on the normal game (1 line, Full House prize, etc.) you will be in with a chance of winning a consolation prize on the games that the consolation prize is offered. A player is randomly selected as a consolation prize winner from the group of players that have not won during the game.
  • What is 75 Ball bingo and how does it work?
Generally, the 75 Ball Bingo is similar to 90 Ball bingo with some differences. There are only 75 balls and the ticket has 5 x 5 squares. To win you need to fill a certain pattern first. This pattern is shown during the game. There can also be up to 5 patterns in any one game, so you have more chances to win. The payouts on these games and the way the prizes are calculated are the same as the 90 ball bingo. We currently don't offer 75 Ball Bingo... but watch out for any changes to that...
  • What Currency is the bingo software denominated in?
The bingo system (all bingo games, and casino games except for Cleopatra, Monopoly, Deal or No Deal and European Roulette on paddypowerbingo.com) is denominated in £ GBP. All transactions for these games are placed in GBP, and the game screen displays all figures in GBP.

If your account is in EUR, all figures in My Account are displayed in EUR, and the exchange rate used for each transaction on the bingo system can be seen in My Account > History > All Transactions, by transaction.

  • I've bought my tickets but the game doesn't start for a few minutes: Entertain me!
You've a number of options here: choose from a lot of other games in the games lobby for the chance to win more, join the chat room , bet on the outcome of the bingo game with our new Bingo Bets, or play mini slots.
  • I see there's a chat room: what's going on in there?
In the Chat rooms you can chat with pals, fellow players and our friendly Chat Moderators (CM) who'll invite you to join in the chat games - more chances to win bingo bonuses to add to your account! Take a look at the Chat Pages and Chat Game Schedule for full details, and learn about our Gold Star team of CMs on the Meet the CMs page.
  • What does the Chat Moderator (CM) do?
A chat moderator will appear in red writing and will have a ‘#’ symbol before and after their name and username to make them easily identifiable to players in the room. They are friendly folk who'll inform you of up coming jackpots and chat games, and let you know when games are beginning. If you have some questions about the game you are playing, they'll be happy to help you.
  • What are mini slots?
In between games, or during games if you want, you can play the ‘mini slots’ game. It’s a mini version of a regular slot game right inside the bingo window, so you can chat and play at the same time! Select the coin value you wish to play with and bet up to 3 of these coins on each spin.
  • How do I play mini-slots?
Select the Mini Slot game tab within the Bingo game. After the game has loaded you may modify the credit value you wish to play with by clicking on the arrows located to either side of the credit value indicator (located to the right of the slot reels). The right arrow will increase the credit value and the left arrow will decrease it. To the right of the slot reels you will see the Cash button. Selecting this will show an update of the coins available (found below the buttons). At the bottom of the machine there are two buttons you can use to bet. Use the BET ONE button to bet the denomination you chose to play. Clicking this button again will increase your bet by one coin denomination each time. Use the BET MAX button to bet the maximum allowance for the game you have chosen. This is the maximum bet allowed and affords you a chance at the highest payouts. To pull back bets just continue selecting BET ONE and once it's at the maximum bet it will then cycle back to bet value of 1. When you have placed your bet, push SPIN to spin the reels and hit your payout. If you have chosen to BET MAX, then the reels will spin automatically. Mini Slots has a special symbol that counts as wild. When a wild symbol is present on an active payline, it will substitute for any other symbol to form a winning combination.
In a mini-slots session, once you have committed an action on the game, the credits total is subsequently displayed as the total available credits less the current wager in the coins field.
  • What are the Mini Slots Payouts?
Clicking the PAYS button presents the paytable for the game at hand. This display indicates the payout amounts for each winning symbol combination. Use the arrow buttons to scroll through the multiple pages of the paytable. All line pay amounts indicated on the paytable are multiplied by the number of credits bet on each line.
  • There are so many other new games! How do I play?
